Oligo therapy

Oligo therapy - trace elements

The Greek word ‘oligo’ means few. Oligo-elements are minerals which are present in our body in very small traces. That is why they are also called trace elements.

Although the total amount of oligo-elements in an adult body fits in a tea spoon, they are tremendously important to control all bodily functions. They activate all kinds of enzymes.
Trace elements are co-enzymes, they activate our enzymes (body own protein compounds). They act as a catalyst for our metabolism like digestion and cell respiration. A lack of trace elements can block our enzyme system and weakens our immune system.

Important trace elements are: chromium, fluoride, iron, iodine, copper, manganese, molybdenum, selenium, cobalt and zinc. We have to absorb them from our food because the body can’t produce them

The cause for a lack of trace elements can be found mostly in the bowels. In a normal intestinal flora there is a balance between the healthy and pathogenic bacteria and yeast/fungus. The balance of a healthy bowel flora can be disturbed by eating poor and unhealthy food, by heavy metals and an overindulgence of food, alcohol, hallucinatory drugs, medical drugs and stress.

The lab tests show us clearly if you have a lack of certain kinds of trace elements. We can then add the missing trace elements with the Oligo therapy and your enzyme system will be reactivated. You will secrete stored toxins through the liver, kidneys, skin, lungs, stomach and bowels.
In this way we can restore the balance of your intestinal flora and your bowels will be able again to absorb enough vitamins and minerals from your food.

How does it work?
When the lab tests have shown us of which trace elements you have a deficiency, we start the Oligo therapy. The trace elements are made on the basis of plant juices for better absorption. You will get them in little glass bottles with a little cup on top to get the right dose.

You pour the trace elements right under the tongue because there the mucous membrane is thin and the small blood vessels are quite close to the surface. In this way the trace elements are absorbed directly into the bloodstream and can regulate your enzyme system immediately.

The Oligo therapy has been developed by the French doctor
Jacques Ménétrier (1908 – 1986).
